In Italy, Grimaldi serves the ports of Ancona, Brindisi, Civitavecchia, Livorno and Naples, as well as the ports of Arbatax, Cagliari, Olbia and Porto Torres in Sardinia and the port of Palermo in Sicily.

Ports served by Grimaldi in Spain

Gimaldi is present in Spain in the ports of Barcelona and Valencia, as well as in the ports of Alcudia, Formentera, Ibiza, Mahon, and Palma in the Balearic Islands.

Ports served by Grimaldi Lines in Greece

In Greece, Grimaldi Lines serves the ports of Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

Ports served by Grimaldi Lines in Tunisia

In Tunisia, Grimaldi Lines operates from the port of Tunis.

The Grimaldi Group owns 14 vessels with the Grimaldi Lines brand, including state-of-the-art cruise ferries and modern ferries, with different capacities, reaching up to 3500 passengers and 1000 vehicles on board the flagships Cruise Roma and Cruise Barcelona.

Grimaldi ferries offer the possibility to embark with a car, a van, a camper van, a minibus, a motorbike, a scooter, a bicycle or as a pedestrian.

The vehicles can also include additional equipment (bicycle rack, roof box, etc.) which must be taken into account in the measurements of the vehicle when booking. A trailer can also be taken on board by ticking the corresponding option.

Inside and outside cabins

The inside and outside cabins of Grimaldi ferries are composed of 2, 3 or 4 beds, power sockets, shower, sheets and bed linen.

The outside cabins are equipped with a porthole unlike the inside cabins.

Suites

Depending on the type of ship, Grimaldi Lines also offers superior accommodation. On board Cruise Roma, Barcelona, Sardinia and Europa, there are two types of suites: Junior Suites and Owner’s Suites, which are more spacious and equipped with double or single beds and a sofa. The suites include, in addition to the basic amenities, a television, a minibar, a shower or Jacuzzi (Owner’s suites only).

Cabins for PRMs

Grimaldi Lines ferries contain cabins suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM), with enough space for a wheelchair and adapted sanitary facilities.

Cabins for animals

Grimaldi Lines ships do not have cabins reserved for animals.

However, it is possible when booking to subscribe to the “pet in cabin” service, which makes any type of cabin accessible to animals. With this service, a pet sleeping kit will be installed in the cabin and a suitable cleaning treatment will be carried out at the end of the journey.

Seats

Instead of cabins, Grimaldi Lines offers the possibility to book comfortable armchairs. They are cheaper than cabins and are located in dedicated areas equipped with television and air conditioning.

Restaurants and bars

Grimaldi Lines offers several dining venues on its ferries.

The à la carte and self-service restaurants offer a wide variety of traditional Mediterranean dishes and menus suitable for both adults and children.

For quick snacks or to relax with a drink, snack bars are available indoors, on the outside decks and at the swimming pools.

On the Tunisia lines, food and beverage offerings also include Halal dishes.

Shops

Grimaldi ships have a shop on board, allowing passengers to purchase various items such as toys, perfumery and hygiene items, newspapers, clothes, snacks, souvenirs etc.

Entertainment

Grimaldi Lines ships are equipped with numerous entertainment facilities. Discotheque, swimming pool and solarium will allow young and old to enjoy themselves during the crossing.

Relaxation areas

On some ships, Grimaldi Lines offers travellers the “Wellness Center”, an area dedicated to personal care and wellness where you can find: sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, solar showers, massage rooms, sale of beauty products and gym.

Grimaldi Lines ferries have play areas for children and a range of catering facilities.

In addition, the on-board staff can provide passengers with high chairs, changing tables and baby cots on request.

Pets are welcome on Grimaldi ferries and are allowed in the cabins and on the outside decks.

However, they are not allowed in the communal areas, restaurants, seating areas and passenger lounge.

If you have made your booking directly on Grimaldi website or via another platform than smartferry.com, we will not be able to make any changes or cancellations.

It is possible to travel on Grimaldi ferries without booking a cabin or seat. In this case you will only have access to the common areas.
